Cohen & Perfetto LLP is pleased to announce that Louis A. Perfetto and Marshall J. Cohen were recently named New York Metro Super Lawyers for the second year in a row. The list, which was distributed Sept. 28 as part of the Sunday New York Times and in a stand alone magazine, New York Super Lawyers - Metro Edition, is compiled through a balloting process and selective review conducted by the publishers of Law & Politics magazine. The annual publication identifies lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only five percent of New York lawyers were named 2008 New York Metro Super Lawyers.
On Sunday, June 1, 2008, Cohen & Perfetto LLP sponsored "Practice at the Park" at the Richmond County Bank Ballpark, home of the Staten Island Yankees. The firm hosted a clinic lead by the Staten Island Yankees, as well as, former Yankee players Mickey Rivers and Roy White for Kindergarten and First Grade Manhasset Baseball League Boys teams. The afternoon included games, food, fun and a "Big League" experience that the little leaguers will never forget!
On May 1, 2008 in Washington, D.C., Stephen A. Linde was privileged to be one of the presenters at the American Bar Association's 19th Annual Real Property and Trust & Estate Symposium in Washington, D.C. was a great success. Cohen & Perfetto LLP is pleased to announce the addition of its newest partner, Stephen A. Linde. Mr. Linde joins the firm after having been with Holland Knight as Senior Counsel for the past six years. He will concentrate his practice in all areas of commercial real estate.
